Son of a...

Sailor. This is my 1st card for The Cat's Pajamas Jimmy Buffett challenge that was issued by Carole Burrage. I say 1st because I have 5 other ideas running around in my head right now. The challenge for me is going to be trying to get the all done successfully before the Saturday night deadline. This challenge is right up my alley. I love Jimmy. I have been to two of his concerts, well two that I distinctly remember. It could've been three. Those concerts tend to be a little fuzzy. Hee hee! I also love doing twisted cards. I was one of the original twisted sisters in the Twisted & Demented swaps on SCS.

Ok enough about me... Here is what I used on the card... The Poochie and Yappy are from The Cat's Pajamas of course. The boat and the life saver thing are from SU!'s By Sea set. The card base is SU! Basic Black. The light blue is some of the Prism paper. The sun is the SU! retired flower punch in Summer Sun with the rounded tips cut off and then the 1/2" circle in Only Orange. The images were all stamped on SU! Whisper White. The ink colors used are SU! Ruby Red, Old Olive, Cool Caribbean, Only Orange, Craft White (for the clouds in the sky), and Pallette Hybrid Noir. I'm not sure where the water paper is from. I had it in my scrapping stash.

Here is a close up. I stamped the boat in different colors and then cut them out and attached them to one main boat. Poochie and Yappy have their heads popped up with dimensionals. I used some linen thread for the rope on the life saver.
