Sweet Pea

I made this card for a swap I was in. The goal was to feature items from the Occasions mini so I used the Sweet Pea stitched felt and designer paper. The sentiment is from Well Scripted. I cut that piece it is on with the Matchbox die. The scalloped border is made with the punch featured in the SAB catalog. The paper colors are So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.

Cute Cute SAB Card

I didn't come up with this fabulous card by myself though. I was inspired by this one by Ilina Crouse. I used the SAB set Good Neighbors and the coordinating paper pack Welcome Neighbor. You can get them FREE when you place a qualifying order. The colors I used are Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, and there is some Pumpkin Pie ribbon up there in the corner.

Lorien's Laundry - Polka Dot Bathing Suit

I had a lot of fun the last time I did ones of these posts. I think I will start to make my laundry a regular feature. Hee hee.

Unfortunately this is not my new bathing suit. I picked this up for my daughter at Target the other day. I love the bright colors and the polka dots and thought it would be fun to turn this into a card.

Ta-Da! I used all SU! materials. The colors are Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Basic Black and Whisper White. The black and white polka dot paper is from the Night & Day Designer Paper pack. How did I do?

Tidying Up!

My room is pretty well in order now. Just a few finishing touches left for organizing my embellishments. Here is what it looks like when it isn't a total disaster area.

My stamping desk. Loving my ink pad organizer from Organize More. I was able to put all my neutrals and incolors from the past few years in there. Also the other misc stamp pads I have.

This is my new punch wall. I used the bygel rails from IKEA to hang my punches on. I need to pick up a couple more rails for my Marvy punches. I did the green serving tray up there with some SU! Decor Elements.

And here is my little helper. Behind her I have my stamps on shelves. I moved the retired ones down and over out of the way so I could store my Big Shot stuff on one section when I am not using it.

Now I just need to spend some more time getting crafty.

Happy 2010!

Wow, I sure have been neglectful of this blog. I hope to be a better blogger in 2010. As soon as I get my craft room cleaned up I will get to work over here.
