Oh I am a little behind this morning. I thought I had another post all set up to go, but apparently not. Ha ha.
This was a card we did at Stamp Camp last night. Lots of fun! This uses the Contempo Christmas set and the Jolly Holiday DSP. We colored the stamp with markers to get the multi color image.
Well that is all I've got for the Christmas Cardapalooza this year. You may see a couple more Christmas cards though because I need a couple more for the stamp a stack next week.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 19
Here we have A Cardinal Christmas stamp set. The designer paper is from the Deck the Halls pack. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla. I tied a knot in Early Espresso satin ribbon and attached it to my card.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 18
Isn't this just darling? I used the Sweet Snowglobe single stamp. I inked it in Not Quite Navy first, then I used a blender pen to remove ink from the tree and added the green with a marker. I thought that was easier than coloring the whole thing with a marker. I added some Moonlight Smooch to the image where the snow is and for the dots on the scallops. Colors are Not Quite Navy, Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, and Whisper White.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 17
I made this card for the blue and white challenge. I had already made two other cards that were blue and white, but I couldn't resist doing another.
This card features the Serene Snowflakes stamp set and the colors are Pacific Point and Whisper White. I added one Rhinestone in the middle of the big snow flake for some sparkle.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 16
For this card I brayered Bashful Blue ink onto the Northern Flurry embossing folder. Then I ran it through the Big Shot with Glossy White paper. Isn't that nifty?! I mounted it on a Night of Navy base and added Rhinestones, Whisper White Organza ribbon, and the sentiment from Christmas Greetings.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 15
Happy Turkey Day!
This was a fun card. The branches of the tree are actually the pine from Lovely as a Tree. That is stamped in Platinum Shimmer Paint. Then the ornament is from Delightful Decorations. It is punched out with the coordinating Ornament punch. There is some of that Clear Tinsel Trim used to hang the ornament from the branch. The colors used are Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, and Whisper White.
Hope you have a lovely day with your family and that your turkey turns out perfect. If you get to stamp while the boys watch football that is a bonus!

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 14
And now for something totally different. Hee hee. I don't usually go for the detailed stamps or the vintage style, but I like to try new things once in awhile.
This card uses the Christmas Postcard single stamp, Deck the Halls DSP, Cherry Cobbler Early Espresso, Always Artichoke, and Crumb Cake cardstock. I colored the main image with the Many Marvelous Markers. There is a strip of Champagne Glass Glitter there and I used the Glimmer Brads in the corner of the main image. I think I will leave those off when we do this card for the stamp a stack.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 13
This was a fun card to make. I wasn't quite sure where I was going with it when I started, but I like how it turned out. This card uses Four the Holidays for the greeting. The designer paper is from the Candy Cane DSP pack. The cardstock is Confetti White, Real Red, and Blushing Bride. I used the Scallop border punch and finished it off with some Clear Tinsel Trim and a Candy Cane Big Designer Button.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 12
This is the first card I did for VSN. The challenge was to make a Christmas card with no red and no green.
This card features the Snow Swirled stamp set. The colors are Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, and Whisper White. I added some rhinestones on the tree and tied some Whisper White Satin Ribbon around the card.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 11
The extravaganza continues! I participated in VSN this past weekend on SCS. For those who don't know what that is, there are challenges posted every hour for Friday night and most of Saturday. I didn't do all of the challenges, but I did 8 of them while I was working on stamp a stack cards. I don't think we will do this one at the stamp a stack, but I wanted to participate in the challenge that asked you to make a card with mostly white space.
This card uses the Jolly Bingo Bits from the Holiday Mini Catalog, Naturals White Cardstock, the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and Vanilla Smooch Spritz on the hills, and Smooch Illuminate Top Coat on the snowman to make him sparkle.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 10
This is the last of the cards from last year's stamp a stack. It is all retired except for the Old Olive and Whisper White. The other colors are Ruby Red and Taken with Teal, and it's got some of that retired DSP on it. The stamp set is an old one called Merry, Merry.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed these cards. I scheduled all of these posts, so hopefully by now I have some new cards to show you for this year's stamp a stack!

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 9
This card fell into the ink pad during the stamp camp, so please ignore that smudge there next to Dasher. Hee hee. Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, and that retired DSP.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 8
This card is pretty much all retired now. Bermuda Bay, a retired DSP, no longer available silver cord. The sentiment is from Four the Holidays and is done with the Platinum Shimmer Paint.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 7
This is another one of my favorites. For this one we used the Vintage Ornaments I Decor Stencils. The silver was done with the Platinum Shimmer Paint. We used a dauber to put the flourish on the card with the stencil and to ink up the sentiment stamp, from Four the Holidays. The color is Old Olive.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 6
This card features the Delightful Decorations stamp set and the coordinating Ornament Punch. The colors are Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay, which were last year's in colors. Rich Razzleberry got carried over and it looks like there are still some Bermuda Bay items in the Clearance Rack.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 5
I just love this card. We used the Photo Corners Punch to make the tree. The sentiment is from Four the Holidays. The colors are Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive.

Attention! Attention!
Christmas Cardapalooza Day 4
Serene Snowflakes is the stamp set used on this simple card. The sentiment is from Four the Holidays. This card used Bordering Blue that is now retired, but Baja Breeze would be a nice substitute.
Tuesday, November 09, 2010
Christmas Cardapalooza Day 3
Shocking isn't it? Hee hee. For this card I thought it would be fun to use some non-traditional colors. The snowflakes are from Snow Swirled and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The green I used here is retired, Green Galore or Glorious Green? I always got those two confused. I believe the pink is Melon Mambo. Yes, it is because we had that polka dot ribbon in that color. See that is what happens when you wait a year to post your cards.
Monday, November 08, 2010
Christmas Cardapalooza Day 2
This card features the Scenic Season stamp set and is done in Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, and I believe there is a layer of the now retired Bordering Blue. We added Dazzling Diamonds with a 2-way glue pen for the sparkle.

Christmas Cardapalooza Day 1
Two years ago I had a Christmas card Stamp a Stack. I posted those cards HERE. Last year I also did a Christmas card Stamp a Stack, but never got around to taking pictures of them. I've finally done that. So here we go!
This card features the A Cardinal Christmas stamp set and uses Soft Suede and Real Red.

It's Just Around the Corner
Can you believe we are already into November and Christmas is right around the corner? This is one of the cards we will be doing at the Christmas Card Stamp Camp. This card was originally done as a make n take at the mother/daughter mingle last month. I needed to come up with two cards for stamp camp and figured there was no sense in reinventing the wheel, right?

Tweet Tweet!
This is the other card of mine that we will be making at stamp camp in August. This card features the new Aviary stamp set. The colors are Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla.
Tip: I used some of the new rhinestones on the bird cage there. I discovered when using my QuickStik thingy to pick them up they significantly lost their sparkle. I will be using tweezers or something else in the future.
