I don't know, I don't know, I don't know where I'm a gonna go when the volcano blows!

Hee hee! I am having way too much fun with this week's swanky stamper challenge. This card is based off of the Volcano song by Jimmy Buffett. I was pretty happy with how my volcano turned out. Here is Poochie sitting on his beach towel thinking about where he will go now that the volcano has blown. Poochie is from The Cat's Pajamas and the airplane is from a SU! set called Wish You Were Here.

For the volcano I cut a cone shape out of SU! Going Gray paper and then put some really thick pop dots under the top of it. I free cut the rocks around the base of the volcano and did the DTP technique on the edges of them. The back molten lava is sponged with Real Red and Only Orange craft ink and was also free cut. I stuck some pointed curled strips of Real Red, Only Orange and Yoyo Yellow paper in the top of the volcano to make it look like the volcano was blowing.

I cut little strips in the edges of the beach towel, and sponged some Sahara Sand ink on the same color paper to make it look like Poochie was sitting on the beach next to the water there. The thought bubble was also free cut and I punched out some circles for the thought trail and outlined them with a black marker.

Stay tuned for the next installment in my Jimmy Buffett series.
